Dead before knowing you are alive (abortion)
One does not need to be told what is right and what Is wrong, one must know what they are doing and how decisions will affect others. Abortion is a global dilemma and taboo, which can be viewed as both an in moral and moral choice. It is a fact, that a baby that it is already conceived is alive. No one can deny or refute this, it has been scientifically proven. But, who has the right to take away the life of an unborn? Ethics is a matter of perspective and how you view and evaluate things. Being virtue ethicists does not make you follower of consequatialism, given the fact that you should already know by instinct that what you are doing is right or wrong. In Catholics based countries, abortion is a closed topic with one very established and definite answer, NO. Zero tolerance is the norm for catholic followers; given the fact that there morals and values are thought through the teachings of a superior being that specifically states that killing is prohibited. This is their view, and for them helping to support the carryon of abortion is a must. Now, let me take you to another perspective, China. Chinese people have an unstoppable growing population; they are very concerned about not being able to cover all the needs of many children due to over population. So, for them is ok to kill unborn due issuing the excuse that, “why bring a baby to a world full of suffering?” Ethics and morals are established by a society that is living somewhat under the same understandings and share common feelings. It depends how you interpret and how you were raised to make moral decisions.
