Life "Willed Where What is Willed Must Be"

Let me just say, right at the start, that abortion is ethically wrong, no matter what angle or what point of view you decide to take. Even if a teenage girl is forced into sexual intercourse, or the pregnancy comes at the most unexpected, or the most inconvenient of times, in the most unfriendly environment, abortion is not an acceptable means of resolving any issue. The principle reason as to why abortion is wrong has to do directly with the highest of moral judges, God. The fact that God’s morals are higher than society’s morals accounts for a “teleological suspense of the ethical”, what this means is that even though society’s morals might frown upon or condemn your actions, your true concern should be to follow God’s norms. These norms primarily dictate that in the case of a pregnancy, the child must be conceived, for abortion is just another form of murder, and Christianity does not approve of any sort of murder, for any reasons whatsoever. Social norms may, in some cases, grant people the opportunity to legally abort due to the woman having been sexually assaulted. However, what a pregnant woman carries inside her womb is still a human being and he or she (not it) has a right to live right from the moment it is conceived. The means of the baby’s conception should not be a justifiable motive on which to decide the decision on whether to abort or not. The decision should be made by following God’s norms above all others. An abortion will not be an ethical decision no matter what.
